8-year-olds can’t get tattoos...buy or drink alcohol...drive...join the service...get married...holy cow! He should be buying comic books not making decisions like this. When are the parrents going to take responsibility for raising kids, instead of allowing the kids (or anyone else) to make decisions like this? Think it’s a media stunt?

No, I don't think this is a media stunt. I think it's a very young boy, who for some reason likes being around girls better than boys and I suspect he had some adult help in deciding to wear girls' clothes. Heck, his parents went out and bought him/her girls' clothes. They helped him choose his girls' name. They lobbied the school to accept him as a girl, and the all-too-willing school built two other-sex restrooms just for him/her. The school thinks this brings diversity to the classroom.

As I've said on another thread, I think this kid is in for a really rough time and will be quite messed up very soon. The kids will be merciless in middle school. No one will hang out with him/her. What if he/she decides to be a cheerleader? I can't wait to see that. They will have to build an other-sex locker room too. I think this kid will be a high risk for suicide before high school.

These parents are doing the kid no favors. If the kid does end it all because he/she can't take it anymore, the parents will probably blame intolerant conservatives.

Who'da thunk that we would see drag tweens in our lifetime?
