My Father worked for him is the early days designing rotor systems. Frank used have a bed in the factory and would call my dad @ 3 am to come down because he thought he heard a noise in test system. It was usually nothing an would drive my dad crazy.

He bought one of my dad’s helicopter’s my dad built after he left Piasecki and stowed it in his back yard. The Jacobs 104

I met him once before he had his stroke, great man. My prayers to his family

I also got to spend some time with Stan Hiller when he was restoring another of my dad’s helicopters. The whole generation was truly special and will missed.

I remember that helicopter in Frank’s backyard.

Also, the article was wrong. He lived and died in HaverFORD, not HaverTOWN. Big difference.
