Gee, I hope you aren't referring to this from your #73 as an example of your math strong point:
In other words, for ever dollar spent, an additional 30 cents would be charged. That's 23%,not 30%.
Next you'll try to tell us there's an exclusive rate on income.

Touché. My wording was as bad as the post it replied to.

I should have said that for every $1.30 spent, .30 is taxes. And that is 23%. Just like the current system which is 'for every $1.30 earned, .30 is withheld for taxes'. Again, 23%.

That better?
