McCain is not my choice, but either Hillary or Obama will destroy our country. I will do what I can to prevent that.

What he said.

McCain haters need to get over themselves. Look, nobody on our side loves the guy, but he’s better than Hillary or Obama. Anything that would allow Hillary or Obama control over out military, IRS, Justice Dept or Supreme Court needs their heads examined.

Next.

When people have to try and convince die hard conservatives that never miss voting in an election that they will have to come out and vote or our candidate will lose then it is really a lost cause.

The excitement on the Democratic side is huge. They will flood the voting booths like they did for John Kerry and they weren't even excited about him. John McCain will draw nothing like W did in 2004 when all on our side were fighting for him, working to elect him, urging others to vote.

Sorry but a backstabber, tax raiser, global warming, destroy our national sovereignty bitter old man is not going to fire up the base. This could be ugly in November. In my opinion, an ugly outcome will lead to the Republican party returning to what wins for them and that is conservatism.

Driving off a cliff at 57 miles an hour is infinitely better than driving off a cliff at 60 miles an hour.
