OK, so we need to not only sweep all open GOP seats, but pick up strong gains in both sides of Congress as well. But we’re willing to concede the single seat in the Oval Office.

I guess the idea is like spotting the other team 3 touchdowns but figuring you can make it up in fieldgoals...

It’s the best strategy we have right now. I have serious doubts that McCain could win even if we all voted for him. We need to go to Plan B. We must never give up the fight.

Amen! What I don't understand about that suggestion is "they" must believe that those who will be voting for McCain would NOT be voting the rest of the ticket Republican???? Doesn't make sense to vote the whole ticket R, and not the top spot. So what does that leave one with?
