“There are 140,000 reasons to vote for McCain and 140,000 reasons to not allow Hitlery or B. Hussein O. become POTUS. Those reasons are serving overseas in defense of this nation. I’d rather not let them down.”
___________________________________________________________

I’m with you and your son.

So is Oliver North who said “The election in November will determine how we proceed on the most profoundly important matter confronting our nation: the crucial outcome of an unprovoked war being waged against us by radical Islam. All other issues, as important as they are, pale in comparison to achieving victory over those who seek to destroy our very way of life.”

So is Mitt Romney who said “I disagree with Senator McCain on a number of issues, as you know. But I agree with him on doing whatever it takes to be successful in Iraq, on finding and executing Osama bin Laden, and on eliminating Al Qaeda and terror. If I fight on in my campaign, all the way to the convention, I would forestall the launch of a national campaign and make it more likely that Senator Clinton or Obama would win. And in this time of war, I simply cannot let my campaign, be a part of aiding a surrender to terror.”

So is John Bolton who said “American conservatives will have a President they can be proud of in John McCain.”

So is Mike Pense who said “Conservatives don’t have to agree on everything. But we do need to agree on one thing: There cannot be a President Obama or another President Clinton in the White House.”

There are several other candidates I would rather be voting for in this fall’s election than John McCain. However, they are no longer in the race, and I am not going to act like a spoiled child who doesn’t get their way and complain that I don’t like the choices I’ve been given.

I do have a choice and it’s a very clear choice between the cut and run democrats and McCain. I cannot imagine telling our brave soldiers that we let Obama/Hillary hand victory to our enemies because we were “tired of holding our noses” when we voted.

These men and women have risked their lives, and we aren’t willing to “hold our noses”? Well, I am.

I thank you. You make good sound reasoned commentary with your post. I only hope enough voters in November also have the intelligence to understand what is at stake in this election.
