Return of the Trilateral Commission! Seriously, Zbig was one guy I never did quite get a handle on.
He was a major hawk on a lot of things - even the rapid deployment force was his baby, IIRC, and he did endorse the first Bush for POTUS.
I guess he is a neocon.

Apparently, the neo-cons didn’t trust him b/c he was Polish, at least according to ex-neocon Jacob Heilbrun in his new book “They Knew they Were Right”
They are racists, basing their policies on what’s good for a foreign state.
