GAZA CITY, Gaza Strip (AP) - A powerful blast went off in the house of a senior Islamic Jihad activist Friday, killing him, his wife, three sons and three neighbors, medics and an Islamic Jihad spokesman said.
Islamic Jihad claimed Israeli warplanes struck the home of Ayman Atallah Fayed. Israel denied it had launched any airstrike in the Bureij refugee camp in central Gaza where Fayed lived. Hamas police said the cause of the blast was not clear.
Witnesses reported seeing fragments of what looked like locally produced rockets at the scene, suggesting the house may have been used to store arms.
Islamic Jihad said Fayed was among the dead, and that the group would carry out reprisal attacks against Israel.
Fayed was a senior member of the Islamic Jihad military wing. Israel routinely targets top militants in airstrikes but Israel denied any such strike on Friday.
The three-story house was flattened by the blast and six nearby homes were badly damaged, witnesses said. At least 40 people were hurt. One of Fayed's daughters and 11 others were in critical condition.
That pretty much says it. I hate it for the kids. War is hell.
Although any loss of human life is a tragedy, I suspect the death of this fellow leaves the world no poorer.
Prayers for the repose of the souls of his innocent family members, however. It seems they paid the price for Daddy’s evil intentions.
The media is now referring to members of the military wing of an organization that carries out rocket attacks and suicide bombings as an “activist?” Try “terrorist,” or better yet “murdering criminal.”
That’s twice this week that there has been good news out of Gaza.
Think I'll pass out some candy...

Last year, Rosh Hashanah and Yom Kippur overlapped with Ramadan. During that period Muslims and Jews shared a holy period. And during those ten days: Muslims racked up 397 dead bodies in 94 terror and suicide attacks in 10 countries. Jews obtained their 159th Nobel Prize Winner. That is all islam is good for death and more death, so when death comes to visit this death cult, I’m happy!!!!!!
I doubt if the kids were still innocent. They start preaching hate from day 1. It makes one wonder what the hell motivates them to such nonsense.

One wonders how many of these footballs there are in Gaza alone. Do they have a fence around it, is the place guarded, are the inmates allowed out, who feeds them, how are they funded, do they live in tents, oh so many questions, and in this day and age how is such a thing possible, with the UN in command?
