If you dont think John McCain is just as dangerous in the White House as George W. Bush, think again.
Thats how retired four-star General Wesley Clark begins a fundraising e-mail sent on behalf of the Democratic Senatorial Campaign Committee.
Clark, who sought the Democratic presidential nomination in the 2004 race, writes in his e-mail:
McCain will not reverse the foreign policy mistakes of George Bush. He is content to leave us in Iraq, saying itd be fine by me if we were in Iraq for another 100 years. He is rash on using military force with Iran. He overplays the military card and doesnt seem to appreciate that the real strength of the nation lies in our economy and in our values.
In seeking contributions to the DSCC for this years Senate campaign, Clark says: We have to be sure we have a Congress that will support a Democratic president but also one that, in the event of a John McCain presidency, has enough horsepower to ensure he cant continue the policies of George W. Bush.

Must be running for Obama's Vice President?
From the “Hero of Kosovo”.
Right, Wes. You almost started a war with Russia singlehandedly. Let me put my sunglasses on while I bask in your brilliance.
Our armed forces improved 1,000 percent the day you retired.
I wish we could dig up the corpse of Patton... so he could slap the $hit out of Pestly Clerk.
Wesley Clark has been mentioned quite a bit as a possible VP for Hillary but, his loyalties and integrity are negotiable.
Wesley Clark is as dangerous as any general officer has ever been.
That’s the best endorsement Captain Queeg has gotten yet.
Which will mean diddly-squat if we do not fight and defeat those who want to destroy us, you twit! Or do you buy into Obama's reasoning that we can just sit down and make nice with them?
“Wes Clark: McCain As Dangerous As Bush”
I disagree. Bush hasn’t threatened to keep our troops in Iraq for 100 years.
I make exceptions for 4 star Generals who appear on the cover of gay magazines.
I think this Clark is a little on the phyco side, he is going a little sienial, did I spell that right?
There is something utterly WEIRD about Clark. Someone used the phrase "perfumed prince" about him, and I'm not sure that's the correct label for him. But he sure comes off like someone who hears voices in his head.
Ashley Wilkes
Man, did that Clark engineered fiasco ever get buried by the MSM - they are very good at protecting Democrat ditzes from themselves....but they aren't protecting us!!
Must be a turncoat. No military guy would be a Democrat nowadays.
So DU pest what are you doing here ?
You could care less about our troops .
Weasely Clark. Fully purchased and paid for by the traitor Clintons.
“So DU pest what are you doing here ?
You could care less about our troops .”
My apologies, what IS the party line on this? That if it takes 100 years to defeat a few thousand jihadis in the sands of Iraq, then so be it? If General Powell were dead, he’d be spinning in his grave.
And just to educate you a little bit, one not need be a pom pom waver on the Iraq war in order to be a conservative. I was against it going in, I thought and still think that Paul Bremmer was, well can one BE criminally ignorant?
I am however a huge fan of General Patreus (and one of his BGDR Generals’ that I served under when he was a light bird, Dana J.H. Pittard) as I believe that these men will end this war in as positive a manner as possible for all involved and a damned sight sooner than 100 years.
