I think we live in a progressive enough society where all students, not matter their style of dress, have earned the special right not to be murdered while they sit in class.

Exactly. And what the students need is not intructions on how to accept and affirm sexual perversion, but some straight talk about the crime of murder, and swift, severe, and certain application of the California criminal code.
