Lewis has a higher loyalty than to the Democratic Party.
Serves the Democratic Party right. Live by the race card, die by the race card.
The man was my representative for way too many years. He didn't even answer the letters or return the telephone calls of his white constituents . . . can't be bothered. Even though I was a campaign contributor (Julian Bond was running against him, and there are some things that are worse even than John Lewis.)
