The kerfuffle on the 5 car in the Nationwide race, however, was because of the crewchief Chad Walters who did come from HMS. Thee was no reason to mess with that car because it was fast to begin with. Jr was NOT happy about that.

I hope so, because while Jimmie Johnson (and his sponors and fans) don't care if he's known for cheating, I believe Jr would care (as would Eury), and it would taint him for years to come, regardless of how honest he personally is. That was the biggest worry I had with him going to work for Hendrick - that Hendrick teams were well known for blatantly cheating (blatant enough to get caught time and again).

Funny that it was Chad Walters...seems like anybody with the name of "Chad" at HMS likes to monkey with the rules.....

To be honest, I have a feeling that the biggest problem won’t be rookies, open wheel or otherwise, it’ll be the tires. They were trying to downplay things, but there’s some chatter about the tires...
