I had a friend in high school who's dad got confused and all of a sudden there were all these queer guys hanging around my friends house. Which made it hard to sneak girls in to the house and upstairs and try to remove them from whatever they had wrapped around them at the time. But that's another story. My friends dad was rich and they had a huge house so he'd have parties for these queer guys most every weekend.

At these queer parties I'd ask those (mostly drunk) queer guys how it could make sense for them to put their thing in another guys north side and then put the poop covered item in their mouths. They never ever seemed to like that question or answer it either. They'd always start talking about "love" and "being together" and such flowery stuff. Then they'd look at my 16 year old self and try to get me to join up and be queer too. When they tried that and touch me I found they don't like it when you throw them up against a wall either. Except for the one big guy with the leather chaps outfit on. He liked to get bounced off things and I was happy to help him out.

Other than the queer part they were some of the funniest and happiest guys you'd ever run across. Until you got to know them (man they like to chatter!) and then they were not real happy and mostly kind of messed up in the head.

I'm pretty sure a lot of those guys came out of their mommies wired up wrong. Maybe like instead of getting the thing where a guys head says "nice front" or "nice rear" when he sees a gal? Guys know what I mean. That's just something you are made with and there is nothing you can do about it. It appears to me that with these queer guys at some point nature made a mistake and instead their head says "nice Bob". Or Ralph or whoever.

I'm sure glad that didn't happen to me. In fact, when those queer guys would get to kissing each other on the lips at the parties I mentioned above it made me queasy sick in the stomach. I just can't watch that. I don't know why but that's just the way I am.

ok, you said your friend’s dad got ‘confused,’ then that gays are ‘born that way.’ was the dad born that way? did he stay gay? I can’t speak for all, but most of the gay men I know had absent or bad fathers. I think some go gay to have close male relationships they missed out on. A lot of lesbians also, and many were victims of sexual abuse, especially the ‘lipstick’ lesbians. The breakdown of the family and no fathers is contributory.

Your first implied premise: homosexuality is a trait a person is born with, like hair color…

Counter argument: Procreation (without extraordinary scientific intervention, i.e., in-vitro fertilization, etc.) is impossible to exclusively homosexual behavior practitioners. Therefore, unless homosexuality is a genetic anomaly (mutation or defect), the owners of this trait would completely disappear from the population in a few generations or less.

Counter argument: Genetic anomalies (e.g. Hutchinson-Gilford Progeria syndrome) which preclude their victims from reproducing appear in the population at the sum total (for all varieties) rate of far less than 0.5%, according to the Centers for Disease Control (CDC). Therefore, if homosexuality were a genetic anomaly (i.e., an inborn trait result-ing from a mutation, defect, etc.), it would appear in the population at much lower incidence than is observed (approximately 2%). Consequently, it is a logical conclusion that all but 0.5% of homosexuals (at most) behave as such out of choice.

Your second implied premise: homosexuality is a trait that, if possessed, the owners thereof must act upon.

Counter argument: The existence of a “trait” does require its owner to act that “trait.” (Of course, this statement assumes that the “trait” is not a psychosis.) For example, heterosexual “orientation” requires no one to participate in rape, bigamy, prostitution, incest or any other sexual activity. Logically, therefore, the presence of a homosexual “orientation” (if such exists) requires no one to participate in homosex-ual activity.

Counter argument: [Using your (implied) logic and illustrative argument ad absurdum] Homicidal behavior is inborn, like race …Are you implying that perpetrators of homicide should not be subject to legal, moral, societal sanctions or, possibly, psychiatric help? Substitute any legally prohibited behavior you like and the point remains the same.

I think so too. I have a student right now, only 12, and already he's just as gay as can be. Looks, mannerisms, posture, interests, hobbies... he's just a little girlie-boy. And he's confided in me that he likes boys, and who he has a crush on and all that. He's only twelve, but you can just take one look at the prissy little thing and say "Yup. Gay."

Wrong. There are mounds of research that says otherwise. Many places like Exodus International and Venus Magazine have the real life people who show that you can do something about it if you choose to.
