Why did Martha Stewart go to prison? Profiting from insider information is unlawful. At the time, neither Clemens nor McNamee broke any laws. Having said that, I think they are both vile liars.

No, Martha Stewart was not convicted of insider trading but was convicted of lying to the Feds under oath.
Roger is on the Martha Track to Federal Prison.
