Without the Mormonism card. Huckabee would not have been in the game. Scientology freaks out the liberals; Mormonism does the same to a lot of evangelicals. The other odd-ball sects of the 2ndGreat Awakening have melted away or blended into all-purpose non-denominalism; the Mormons, least the Salt Lake City group, have built an empire.
