Or it could be that Harvard Woman of her genre’ are simply boring, uninspired, and well...frumpy...?

Could also be that massively well though out give and take day after day after day becomes a chore and not a relationship?

A woman would have to be hotter by a factor of several thousand before a typical, red-blooded American male would put up with her schtick on a daily basis.

I think you're getting close to it. It's not the brains that's the turn-off, or even the looks; it's a kind of frumpy, hen-like, all-biz-all-the-time, apple-polishing, self-important, smug-yet-insecure, policy-wonkishness that is simply unfeminine and unattractive. My workplace is crawling with women like that. In the psycho-babble world of the Enneagram, they are all Type 3s - The Achiever.

As someone who went to a top 12 school where the kids were smart as if not smarter than Harvard students (no legacies diluting the average), I can fully attest to this statement. I was depressed by how few attractive, even remotely interesting girls there were. The elitist types of chicks think they're soooo smart that they can walk around looking like they just woke up and you should still fawn all over them because they go to Harvard or wherever. Well, their personalities certainly don't make up for it; bland as a low-salt plain rice cake. And half as energizing. Just because you're a good enough student to get into Harvard does mean at all that you're at all and engaging or intelligent person to talk to. In fact, I find it to be just the opposite.

It was always a pleasure to do summer school down in Texas at the state schools. Everyone's just much better grounded intelligent and interesting to talk to and, damn, if the classes aren't brimming with hot, well-dressed chicks. :D
