In the Qur’an and the Hadith “Holy War” (Jihad) is commanded to “Holy Warriors” (Mujahideen, Shahid, or Fedayeen) a.k.a. “Terrorists” in the west, contrary to well meaning Muslim moderates.

“Fight those who believe not in Allah nor the Last Day, nor hold that forbidden which hath been forbidden by Allah and His Messenger, nor acknowledge the religion of Truth, (even if they are) of the People of the Book, until they pay the Jizya with willing submission, and feel themselves subdued.

>>>And how will we stop it? Banning the practice of Islam, banning the building of Mosques? Mass deportation of of all believers?

Again, what would you do and how would you make this legal under our Constitution ?<<<

The first amendment states that you can’t stop the “free exercise” of religion.

Islam isn’t just religion, however. It’s a political movement which uses religion as its cohesive ideology. Since the Constitution states that the United States is a republic, someone attempting to subvert or destroy that system is considered one of those “enemies, domestic or foreign.”

My tolerance extends to the point where someone tells me what to believe and how to live while threatening death or conversion.

Yes, we might have to raze the mosques and deport the Moslems, if they insist on creating a nation-within-a-nation and actively working to replace this nation with their own. It won’t be nice having to confront enemies on our own soil - but living under shari’a in an Islamic state is a living hell I don’t wish on anyone, including a Moslem. Eventually we will have to deal with this problem. When that day comes, it will be a choice between liberty and enslavement.

This is a very important point, and until people realize it - which they will do when? After the take-over? - we will be unable to deal realistically with Islam.

It’s been 6 years when we discussed and debated this whole issue. Amzing how little, if at all, any progress in the understanding of a threat and if anything, we have regressed back to a pre 911 type of a discussion.

Bush has been rather pitiful in this due to Saudi influence.

The waters have been muddied, because of our refusal to isolate and destroy the ideology of Al Qaeda, the Salafi and Deobandi schools of Islam, the same followed by the Saud Clan.

Well, hopefully everyone’s grandkids won’t hate our guts for the rather pathetic manner in which we have dealt with the threat.
