Sorry dude... But Ron Paul just ain’t gonna be President.
And that’s a good thing. Paul reminds me of that scene in Spinal Tap. The guitarist has an amp that goes to 11. The interviewer says “but it sounds fine on 10.” The guitarist says “Well yeah, but this one goes to 11!” Paul is right when it comes to unintended consequences, but he takes it too far to be taken seriously. Don’t get me wrong, I respect him and am happy he is still running, but he’d be no better as CIC than a total militant. Another analogy... some people kick a beehive then bitch when they get stung. Paul just says stay out of the forest altogether. I think I’m somewhere in the middle, where conservatives were in the ‘90s.
