I agree, but I it seemed to me the Repubs were defending Clemens, and the Dems defending McNamee

This whole process was BS. Clemens is a liar (IMHO)and McNamee is a liar and a chicken-$hit(also MHO) little coward. This should be addressed by the league and not by a circus in DC. That being said, It looks like McNamees lies caught up to him so he had to come clean. At least Pettit and Knoblock were men enough to face the music and tell the truth. There are to many people that have to be lying for Roger’s account to be truthful.
It was ironic that at one point he claimed that a former president had no trouble locating him while he was in a hunting blind. Right after that he started pointing his finger at people like the slick-meister did. He looked pathetic and guilty and now I have lost respect for whom was once my baseball hero. This is a sad day. If he did it, he should have been man enough to just admit it. My seven year old son can tell a whopper but I hope he can learn a lesson from Andy Pettit and Chuck Knoblock instead of Clemens.
