I may have been a bit blunt and course in my statement however voting for McCain is worse then getting Obama or Clinton.

Why?

Look at history

During Bush 41 the Dem's passed laws that made real estate greatly devalued along with the tax increases they but the country in a rescission, bush 41 signed the bill got the blame.

Clinton and the Dem congress had the economy in a down turn 9 largest tax increase in history) the 1994 congress (republicans) cut taxes, it helped the economy expand, Clinton got the credit for (the greatest economy in history)

Now the national unemployment is 4.5% give or take a tenth, and every city run by Democrats has at least a 6.5% unemployment rate and it is Bushes fault.

The Dem's are going to destroy the economy and they need to get the blame.

If McCain gets elected he is going to go along with the Dem's and the Republicans are going to get the blame again. We will not have a choice but McCain again or an even bolder left wing Democrat.

After the Dem's tear the country down, then we can elect a true conservative to fix the problems with low taxes and freedom, and the people will demand it. I say this because those of us how are conservative will be fine, because we are not dependent on the government or a union to get by. It will hurt some people short term, but in the long run it will be better for the country. I am in my mid 30's and I would rather suck it up now then pass it on to my kids.

Right now the people are like frogs in a pot of water turning the socialism up slowly and the will not know until all their freedoms are gone and it's too late. But if the socialism is thrown on the country all at once the people will notice and do something about it.

If you want me to rant on what I think will happen I will be happy to vent.

Some of us aren’t quitters, friend. I suggest that as much as I like “Atlas Shrugged”, I won’t allow this country to go that route, like you obviously hope it will.
