This country did not start sweeping toward the left overnight. The leftists took their victories here and there, these are now entrenched in our society.

By the same token, we will not take this country back in one administration or even in one generation. We have to take whatever wins we can get, step by step. Perhaps by legislation, perhaps by court action. If we can get a semi-conservative elected, perhaps the next time we can get someone even better, someone who won’t have to cut through four or eight years of ultra-liberal B.S. If you’re fighting an enemy and can get a partial victory, why walk away? Take what you can get and keep plugging away.
