BTTT
The Grand Old Politburo can shove it.
Enlighten me.
I don't care what he says.
I don't care to read any post about what he's done, what he's doing, or what he plans to do.
I don't care who he's hanging with. Or hooking up with.
I don't care to hear his answers about any perceived problem, whether its a personal problem, or problem with some aspect of the country.
I don't care to take time to read posts from anyone who is crying while imploring us all to "Leave John alone!!".
I don't care, John. I'm just an insensitive voter, and I've lost interest.
Heck no. I want to sit in my dirty diaper until after the second Tuesday in November.
Have fun!
“work for McCain”?
See, that is the problem with Mad John, why work for him, when he won’t work for me?
I can vote for Mad John simply because of his support for the Iraq War, but going door to door?
No, simply because then I would have to defend all of the stuff he will support as CEO of the US.
oh when the time comes i will probably vote for him, but i will NEVER stop griping about him, i won’t give dime one to him and sure as hell am not going to volunteer one second of my time for his election. so yeah, more or less, the answer is still no.
McCain will get my vote. However, he will need to rely on his dedicated base of "moderates" and "mavericks" for his "get out the vote" effort. I have a hunch it ain't gonna work.
yo tampoco.
McCain will lose in a landslide to Obama, no matter what you do.
“It is time to get past the anger and get on with this...we have a nominee.”
A bit presumptuous on the “we”.
I will never vote McCain.
Dog, these threads will become a daily occurence from now unti November. The common counter argument is and will be that we are conservatives and not faithful party members. In the end, we’ll have to wait and see if come a Tuesday in November we’re going to hold our noses and pull the flush handles for the Party nominee. In the meantime, the answer is still no.
(For another view read Mark Helprin’s article on the editorial page of the WSJ yesterday. It ought to be available online. Actually, he makes a pretty good case.)
What if McCain picked an outstanding conservative....top notch as his VP.
Would you all still say know?
No.
It’s not a question of hatred or anger or irrationality.
McCain is marginally better than the other two candidates, but only marginally. And if he is elected, he’ll have a much easier time pushing abominations through congress, with bipartisan support for illegal amnesty, the LOST treaty, increased taxes, a new fairness doctrine against conservative radio, and all the rest of it.
At least with Obama in the White House the country and the congress will be polarized, and we’ll be in a position to fight.
I’ll vote Republican on the rest of the ticket, but NEVER for McCain. Unless, as I’ve said elsewhere, he chooses Fred as VP and is looking particularly old and ill in November.
i said it a few seconds before you, but we are in total agreement. grudging votes don’t usually win elections, he has his work cut out for him. he’s counting on those moderates and independents, so let him light a fire under their butts to get him elected.
Ugh...I just threw up in my mouth a little....
It’s the slams time after time Dog, he has won himself no friends, then asks the very people who he has been kicking to come out and do the work.
