If I wish for a comet strike on their ‘compound’, does that make me a bad person?

They’re no different that PETA, really.
Just another bunch of psychos for whom publicity is therapy.

Religious zealotry, of any stripe, is anathema to freedom loving people, everywhere. The twisted logic that drives the Westboro moonbats is further confirmation.

Maybe Topeka could take a page from the Berkeley City Council playbook and set up reserved parking spaces for [some organization that Phelps likes to protest] on the street in front of WBC. Of course, it would be easy to completely ring the church with one space for each organization that Phelps hates.

This author has pointed out their dirty little secret. Almost every member in the “church” is a direct descendant of Phelps. His daughters have as many as 11 kids, and the grandkids are on the same path.
It’s not a church. It’s a seriously messed up family.
