Trust me.. when the summer comes - the luster of Obama will fade - he is a T-shirt of the moment. People want experience, not a rock star. By November Obama will be "He was so 6 months ago" to the kids, and they won't come out and vote for him.

I think Obama will fade over time, too. Not convinced he can’t win despite it. Obama is going to have a difficult time dealing with GOP onslought on the issues. He is out of whack with the American people on the issues, big time. Prolife and pro gun movements will be out in force against him. Those that expect the President to be an effective Commander in Chief will go for McCain. It’s the mushy middle that could stay on board the Obamatrain to nowhere. We shall see. I’ve thought it was similar to 1996. The only difference is McCain has gravitas with a lot of middle of the road voters, and the Dem is not an incumbent. It may be more like 1960. A close election between a seasoned politician vs. a charismatic newbie.
