To: FR Class of 1998

Hi, fake name newbie.

We are intercepting communications from a foreign target. I want it audited and monitored with critical oversight, but I want it done.

Hello again, Doug. So if Hillary put the term ‘Peter Paul’ on the monitoring list, you would be OK with that?

Is this the U.S.A. or the U.S.S.R.?
"The lives of others"
In the East Germany (GDR) of 1984, Stasi Hauptmann Gerd Wiesler (HGW), a keenly idealistic supporter of the communist regime, is shown interrogating a prisoner who is suspected to know who helped another person defect to the West. In the film, this is juxtaposed with his playing a recording of the interrogation while lecturing a class on Stasi methods.

The Party(tm) never did have much use for those pesky constitutional protections against unreasonable search and seizure.
