And those numbers are based on ... what ? Exit polls ? I guess you are forgetting all the problems with exit polls. But if the flawed data fits your preconceptions...
We still do have secret ballots in this country and unless you know otherwise, all anyone can do is speculate - or publish a flawed exit poll.

Media exit polling may be awful, but both parties do very professional exit polling. Gore and Kerry each won the women’s vote. That’s pretty consistent with what people observe in the real world. It isn’t comparable to the ludicrous 2004 media exit polls showing Kerry winning in South Carolina and other such nonsense.
