Another large earthquake has rocked Mexicali.
Most of the ones from your state and Oklahoma are headed for Texas. Expecting sinkholes and quakes any day now.
Thanks for the fault line post.
Notice they don’t show any fault lines in Baja?
Either they don’t have them mapped or they don’t exist.
Lookie at the body of water northeast of Baja with the lil micro quakes on it...looks like a blue worm smiling at the world.
: P
Bump to your post.
I had a thought of perhaps something going off on the oppisite side of the ring of fire
Oppisite NWesterly like Asia/Russia coastline.
Just a hunch, no science here.
The Bay Area 1989?
The area south of the border there isn’t mapped well at all.
Topographic map?
Gotta be joking.
The Salton Sea is an accidentally made lake that some enviros want to ‘restore’.
It sits above a rift zone, with a magmatic pluton below it.
(There’s carbon dioxide wells along the southern shore, and three or more obsidian buttes poking up around there.)
There was a unique earthquake swarm at the Salton Sea a year or two ago.
Northridge, 1994.
I was there for that one.
With the Earth, all things possible.
Big time conservative also.....
And survived!
Gee I had the two events backwards in my mind.
Being Northridge prior to 1989.
We left the bay area for multiple reasons just after the 1989.
So that makes since my sons friend moved up here righ after the Northridge quake.
Brain lapse.
Thanks for the reply.
That’s what happens when thousands of people run towards the USA border at the same time.
I am a retired physicist and semiconductor engineer ... but I too am a Dead Head!
... and a conservative.
We are everywhere! See what I mean: even our beloved Ann Coulter is in the tribe ...
Amen..!!
