I believe that Barack Obama will defeat Hillary and win the Democratic nomination. I think that this weekend's victories in states as diverse as Washington State, Louisiana, Nebraska, and Maine illustrates his national appeal and demonstrates Hillary's inability to win in states without large immigrant and Latino populations.
Hillary's results on Super Tuesday, which amounted to a draw with Obama, will be her high water mark and will represent the closest she will ever come to the party nomination.
Right now, CBS has Obama ahead in elected delegates with 1134, while Hillary has only 1131.By the time Virginia, Maryland, DC, Wisconsin, and Hawaii vote during the next week, Obama will have a lead over Clinton of about 100 delegates, even counting the super delegates who have thus far committed themselves.
March 4th will, at worst, be a wash for Obama with his probably wins in Ohio, Rhode Island and Vermont offsetting his probable defeat in Texas. (Although in Texas' open primary, Republicans and Independents may flock to the Dem primary to beat Hillary).
And then come a list of states almost all of which should go for Obama, including likely victories in Pennsylvania, North Carolina, and Indiana. By the convention, he will have more than enough delegates to overcome the expected margins Hillary may rack up among super delegates.
And don't bet on all the super delegates staying hitched to Hillary. These folks are politicians, half of them public office holders who are really good at reading the handwriting on the wall and really bad at gratitude for past favors.
Since 2004, I have predicted that Hillary Clinton would be the nominee. But, given the consistently amazing performance of Obama, his superior organizational and fund-raising skills, his inspiration of young people, and the flat and completely uninspiring performance by Hillary, it looks to me like it will be Obama as the Democratic nominee.
Just remember to wear shoes, I hear that when Dick plays poke her he likes to suck on da piggys.
I think Obama stands a better chance of splintering off the entire Black vote from the Democratic Party. If Hillary wins the nomination at the Convention because of these Super Delegates, all hell is going to break loose on the Left, and if anything will hand McCain the Election.
I don’t believe Obama can win the election for himself, but he can sure ruin it for Hillary, and hand it to McCain as a result.
Poor, Obama, he’s screwed now that Dick has spoken.
And then, I hope she wins. Not only because it will prove that true conservatives have drawn the line, and will not support McCainiac, but because she will be the most ineffectual DemonRat leader of our times, and I certainly include her putative 'husband' and Jimmah Carter in that group. The Witch will deliver the Congress to us on a silver platter in 2010.
Fun with anagrams:
Dick Morris Predicts Obama Win = Worrisome, Drab, Manic Dipstick
I don’t know what that means exactly but it seemed appropriate.
I don't. He scares me to death. The emotion surrounding this left-wing empty suit could actually carry him to the presidency. Yes, he's worse than Hillary.
Any guy so très cool as to have Cuban flags with the famous Che image on them in his campaign offices is going to get EVERY under 30 vote just because of the 'cool factor plus the vote of every socialist leaning person of any age.
I am in Texas and plan to cross over to vote against Her Hindness.
if Dick Morris predicts Obama will win, that means Hillary will win...
Let the games commence.
Morris is (or was) a top notch pollster, he is a crappy political analyst, Barack has the Mo’, but NC could easily go Hilde, TX with the near uniform Hispanic Vote will go Hilde, and the smaller states like VT are darn near irrelevant.
Either way, it takes 2,100 votes to be named a “Dhimmi”, no matter which way it turns, if Hilde and Barack are close come Denver, Hilde will win this race.
And I was just beginning to believe Obama could drive a stake through her.........
A few months ago, Hillary and Rudy were the clear front runners. Things change. Not in defense of Dickie, but who predicted the current state of things now?
Notes for Democrat ‘super-delegates’...
1. Ensure your life insurance is up to date before crossing the Clintons.
2. Check closet for skeletons before crossing the Clintons.
3. Review your fund raising records before crossing the Clintons.
4. Did I mention the life insurance thing???
I fear that Obama might have an “accident” along the way or that some scandal will surfact— The Tabliods come out with a gay white dude who says he was Obama’s College Lover. That or a love child or two, or that he worshipd Satan or maybe he is secretly a MORMON. These would sink his chances—Just watch. A month from now Obama will be out of the race.
Not his personal office; he’s way too smart for that.
Just the office of someone in one of his campaign centers... Houston, I think.

Now that Hillary has Marge back, it could be time for a trip to the park.
This the same Dick Morris who, just a year or so ago, was predicting the race would be between Hillary Clinton and Condi Rice, with Rice taking it.
Morris has more predictions than Jean Dixon had. And his accuracy isn’t that great.
