That summarizes why true conservatives cannot vote for McCain very well. However, those who support McCain will consider your logic as nothing more than a "hissy fit."
They said that and more about Reagan... some Republicans despised Reagan... Reagan was not perfect but he was the Father of Modern Conservatism... he brought confidence to a shattered Nation and he made us believe in ourselves again. One cannot be Conservative and not believe the the “Shining City Upon the Hill”. We just have to believe and go out and do it.
