No one at the IRS and elsewhere will unleash a vendetta against Republicans the way it would if Hillary appointed and controlled the Federal Government.
I see your point about the judicial appointments. That is a problem. But I think looking long-term w/r the party, if we can't get a conservative elected SOON, we're doomed. Having McCain in there will reduce the chance of that, but having a Dem in there will rally conservatives for future elections. (ie., we needed a Carter to get a Reagan). Otherwise, it'll be lib vs. lib for the rest of our lives.

Oops - forgot to say what I meant to w/r what I quoted from your post. McCain, IMO, will be just as nasty as Clinton against those that thwarted him in the past. Ie., the conservatives.
