My daughter went to the caucus here in our small town. She's a first time voter

Obama won 18 - 11. My wife went as well, although she doesn't vote as a resident alien.

They both said that even before the room divided to vote you could tell the Clinton people. They were in-your-face professional women. There were only 2 men for Clinton.

They described the Obama voters as 'alternative' types, but they spoke with reason and objectivity. They were more impressed by the Obama supporters.

Brunswick, Lewiston and Waterville have the Little Ivy colleges, and Lewiston and Waterville have hospitals as well. There is a high percentage of professionals in those towns. I spend a lot of time in Waterville and the Colby people I overheard seemed to be supporting Clinton.

It seems like the demographic nationally I've read about is holding out here.

I agree with you about the Somali influence in Lewiston. There isn't any. The professionals there will go for Clinton.

With or without their wymin keeping a very close eye on them?
