Yes, I agree, there are a few hokey things in Red River. But it’s a great movie anyway, IMHO. The start of the cattle drive may be the best movie scene anywhere.
When it comes to Democrats McCain is a lover not a fighter.
Yeah, I’ve got those, too. And Winchester ‘73.
Don't know his prognosis but had a very good surgeon friend, with a wife and 4 young children die of it. At that time, there was NO cure and in his case a bit of treatment but death was very quick once it was diagnosed.
I agree, McCain does appear of grayish pallor.(Compared his photos against Ronald Reagan when he left office and it looked like Reagan was 20 years younger then McCain.
I pray for him and his health but do not desire to have him foisted as a "placeholder" for 4 years (as that seems to be what everyone is saying about this candidate or that in the Republican race, that they can "run again in 2012."
What that tells me is they believe that it's "McCain's turn" now and we can pick someone we really want in 2012.
Heard to day that at one Caucus site in KS one of the speakers for McCain actually was contemptious of Bush or especially the Bush Administration (hint and it was not over Amnesty, it was over his pro-life, pro-family, pro-Christian values.)
So much for "McCain, the Pro-life candidate!"
I am refering to me as the conservative. They - the establishment Repubs - said that conservatives are irrelevatn and they don’t need us. So, let them win with conservatives. Without me.
