My husband, who never says bad things about people, saw B HUSSEIN Obama on tv the other day and said “what’s up with his lip color, he just looks EVIL” I used to hear things like that about Bubba Clinton, and he still won. Scary.

Looks good, speaks really well, but in the end an empty suit saying nothing, mouthing platitudes and recycled cliches.
How do you think he will do in debates using his platitudes? I hope he falls on his face.

I know, I was being facetious. I should have used a sarcasm tag.
My point was that without policy details vision is meaningless, without solid guiding pricinples the best intent may lead to catastrophe. Lenin, Mussolini, Hitler, Mao, Castro, Che all spoke eloquently of grand visions. Jimmy Carter, Lyndon Johnson, James Buchanan all spoke of their visions.
I guess being Cuban I am instinctively turned off by substance-free eloquence and vision.
The problem is that if he gets the White House, the American people (or the majority) will follow him to hell and back - and that’s likely where he’ll take us.
