It’s called “cult of personality” voting.

In contrast, someone who’s actually *done* something would be running on their track record instead of how they look or sound.

I’m listening to Obama Jefferson-Jackson Speech and this guy is good. He’s very expertly skipping over Hillary and going right to the general Election and to what, IMO, will be his ass-kicking of creaky, cranky, doddering good old boy McCain.

The good news is he IS NOT HILLARY. The bad news is HE IS VERY, VERY GOOD and our presumptive candidate is not!

Were all the ovulating groupies in the audience swooning and crying over him?

First things first...I wish him well in knocking out Hillary...then I’ll start knocking him.

Reagan was the best. Obama is an excellent speaker though.

But remember, (and boy will I get flamed for this one but probably only at DU) Hitler was a dynamic speaker as well. What does he stand for??? Oh, really? Nevermind.

My nephew and I watched and listened to Obama speak on television last week. It was very moving. When the speech ended I turned to my 15-year old nephew and asked, “What did Barack Obama say?”

He bowed his head, thought a moment and said, “Nothing much. But he sure got my attention!”

Great oratory, but the depth of his message is about as deep as the baby pool. And just as polluted.

Even better than Reagan.

No. I admit that he has great style. But Reagan was his equal in style. And in substance, ....... now I am laughing.

Reagan was a great motivational speaker; on the other hand, so was Hitler and Jim Jones. Don’t be fooled by the hype, he’s a liberal to the core and against everything a conservative holds dear.

I hope we all see the clear and present danger.

He is great...but not in debates.

That’s why Hillary wants them and he doesn’t.
