I'm sorry...GIVEN this opportunity? Who gave it to her? She GRABBED it for herself, and used Slick's coattails to create herself a Senate seat and a platform for the presidency.

I don't respect her for a number of reasons, because after all she is a dem, but if she had done it FOR HERSELF, I might have the tiniest shred of respect for her. She put up with the Sinkmeister for exactly this reason.

Sisters should be doing it for themselves...isn't that how the song goes??

I think that I understand what you're saying.

I said "given" because she never earned it. You, however, are much more accurate: Clintons snatched it.

Either way, I think we agree: Any person who gets there should ONLY arrive by their own merit. She has none. Any person who gets there should behave as a mature adult. Publicly crying four times in the last month is not what I want to see in a potential president.

(That said, there's NOTHING about her that is presidential! The crying is just one more negative to add.)
