I’m pretty sure Chelsea is an adult. She is a willing participant in the Clinton crime family.
More to the point, slang is moving on. It was a tasteless thing to say, but only in the sense that there are some words an adult shouldn’t use in mixed company (and a TV broadcast that children are watching counts) that are OK in private conversation.
However, Schuster wasn’t making a sexual claim. The current slang for putting a whore to work isn’t “pimp out”, its “turn out”. If Schuster had said the Clintons were “turning out Chelsea”, then yes that would be an offensive accusation.
What’s interesting that slang moves on for other words too. Reporters are quick to say that a politician is “pandering”, and the other day the Clinton campaign sent out a “flip flop pander alert” about Obama.
Does anyone remember the original meaning of “pander”? Essentially it means to, well, pimp out.
