Romney is the real thing. Nobody wrote his speech before CPAC for him; he wrote it himself, and it was great. His record in Mass. was great (I lived there and voted for him).
Coulter is right — Romney was the best conservative candidate since Reagan but too many Republican voters didn’t bother to check for themselves and instead bought the lies about his record by the liberal media (who feared he’d win) and McCain/Huckabee.
So these Republican voters now have no right to complain.
McCain/Soros by Rabbi Areyh Spero
Soros' "Reform" (an article about Soros instrumental hand in McCain/Feingold)
Do you want to know why we lost in 2006? McCain/Feingold. Do you think McCain will actually win in Nov? Not on your Soros, pal.
Stop the McCain/Soros trashing of America!
He was a hell of a lot better candidate than Fred Thompson, that’s for sure. Fred was a complete waste of time, and that was pretty obvious to those with eyes to see. But Romney never caught hold either. And he’s mormon, so that means he’s hiding pointy little horns under his coiffe.
The liberal media weren’t the only ones trashing Romney. We had a lot of people doing it here, sometimes saying really vacuous things such as, (in talking about Romney’s healthcare plan requiring people to prioritize their health in drawing up their budgets)
“Yeah I know, its actually PRIVATE but the GOVERNMENT pays for it”

If our own at FR can maintain that a plan can simultaneously be both PRIVATE and PUBLIC, then the nomination of McCain should surprise no one. We lack the rigor to make these decisions. You’re right. We now have no right to complain.
“Romney is the real thing.”
He sure is—the real RINO.
