Frankly I don’t see how people can expect others to hold their noses and vote for their guy but throw a fit when asked to do the same.

Keep it simple:

Frankly at 40, Ive yet to see any 'compromise' towards conservatisim. The house victory with the Newt contract wasnt anybody holding their noses... it was breathing deeply a breath of fresh air behind a movement of principles.

aside from that, if I were offered an imperfect candidate that was maybe 80% of what I thought was right, I might compromise, but giving me a 20% [being generous] candidatate and asking me to overlook the bad stuff, then saying Im a 'crybaby' or too rigid is just fearmongering...

I talked to many people in the 2004 election who were voted Bush as the lesser of two evils than Kerry and these people were not tradtional republican or conservative voters.
