When I lived in Alabama, they gave the Democrats white ballots and the Republicans blue ballots for the primary. You had to say out loud which one you wanted, and if you didn’t say it loud enough they made you repeat before you would get a ballot. I never thought that was a secret ballot.
No, that is definitely not right. I hope somebody got it changed. I would have gotten myself arrested making a fuss about that.
