At worst the strategy would serve to put pressure on McCain. Even someone as stubborn as he would see the obvious if he were denied a majority in, say, Texas. after his virtual nomination on Super Tuesday. I will vote against him before I will vote for him. IMHO, he has to prove he doesn’t speak with forked tongue. Hard for a man who has behaved so often like a snake.

Precisely- McCain looks unstoppable but without a major turnaround on illegals he won't have the conservative support in November to win and votes for any other nominees can force him and the party to come out of their dream world and face that.
