That would depend on who the opponent is. We don't always get what we want, but if Hillary is the nominee and conservatives still decide to sit it out because of a childish tantrum,

I see you are a slow learner.

You, and others, are making no headway with the "childish tantrum" nonsense.

First of all, it is a gross mis-characterization of the principled fight that CONSERVATIVEs are putting up to save their party from a McCain presidency that would doom the GOP to be the minority party for decades to come, as well as, kill the reagan coalition in the GOP.

Secondly, the more you make such childish statements, you further deepen my resolve to make sure McCain looses.

I have no problem with trying to stop McCain before or even during the convention. But once he has become the bona fide nominee, it's no longer a battle for ideology, but an attempt at damage control. That's what primaries are for. I was a FredHead (donated to his campaign and a yard sign is still planted in my front yard ), and we all were given a fair chance to get our candidates nominated. If we couldn't, we accept it, and we move on and try harder next time. It's Democrats who bi*ch and whine and moan after losing elections. Us conservatives accept reality and make best with what we have.
