Compare that with the mountains of evidence and proof that the universe and this world with its innumerable trillions of intricacies, is the product of intelligent design. Intelligent design points to the existence of an intelligent Creator. One wonders why intelligent people continue to deny creation and hold onto evolution. My answer is that in the final analysis, some people have a built-in bias against the existence of God. Why? Because the existence of God means there is One with whom you may have to deal. This is true, but if you don't know Him, you're missing out, because God is Love. Try him, you'll like him.

No they don't. If you believe evolution in some way runs counter to the 2Lot, then you either have a misunderstanding of evolution or the 2LoT, or both.

There is no direct line from complexity to design. Even Dembski admits this which is why he added specificity. Unfortunately the identification of his 'specificity' is subjective and requires prior knowledge of the context, including the capabilities, habits and desires of the designer.

If you require natural complexity from simple origins I suggest you examine complex systems on the verge of chaos.

I come from a creationist family and at one time wanted to become a Lutheran Pastor. By the time I was 13 I could see how nonsensical the Bible was. By the time I was 14 I could clearly see the lack of evidence for a god.
Why would I believe in something that clearly leaves no evidence?
