Is it really hard to accept that a public thank-you could be inflammatory and cause ethnic groups in Yugoslavia to be singled out for retribution? Where is the argument that this consideration is not valid?

The Croatians, Albanians and Bosnians were on the side of the Nazis think of the Great Stainamkers little adventure into the former Yugoslavia as us finishing Hitlers Work.

It was a great question that you asked, and it really got me thinking. I am afraid that this argument may be valid. When you consider that you Muslims from Albania and Bosnia who sided with Hitler during WWII and also the Croatians were on Hitlers side during WWII factor in the cold war and Communism and the temperament and passion of the people you could easily see that a public thank you might present a problem. This is very sad state of Affairs when you consider where suppressing the truth actually got the Serbs meaning it led in part to the Kosovo tragedy
