Still though, we voted for Perry in 2006 because of his nominal prolife stand. McPain has the same position, but K.B. Hutchison, despite her adoptions late in life, enbraces the deadly Roe v. Wade. It's probably a matter of the lack of trust in McPain on everything.

A little insight into Florida: We had a VERY important vote on the reform of property taxes down here and the state legislature decided (for reasons unknown to me) to put that to a vote at the end of January. Then they decided - probably to shore up voter turnout for that referendum - to move the primaries to that date as well.

The DemonRATS went beserk and tried to ORDER the state legislature - a soverign body of a soverign state of the country - to move it back.

Now that’s a lot of gall on the part of the RATS. Since when does the DEMON RAT party who has no accountability to the people of Florida decide that they are more powerful than an elected body of government?

GALL to the Nth degree.

It’s open in that one picks his party every even March (or April if a runoff). The party pick is binding for two years, but it has no practical application except in March and April of even years. One is not “registered by party” in TX unless he votes in that party’s primary or runoff.

It is only binding for that primary.

Did you know that McPain cursed Cornyn but hailed EMK and HRC in the immigration debate?

Don’t think that info is widely known..but then, why would Democrat MSM disseminate it?

Binding for that primary and the subsequent runoff, held for some offices where there was no primary majority

When I have worked a run-off there has been no mention of how one voted in the primary.

“ARE SOLE” :”To: Cluster

Regardless of who is elected our only hope is to shore up congress then obstruct the hell out whomever is in office.

Regards

Hi, ARE SOLE : Most of what you say seems right.

=> But take care not to be pushed into a sly trap :

>>> + We have also another “Hope” : Governor Mike Huckabee, who can, now, gather together all the Conservatives, who were divided before.

And Mike’s charismatic personality has got what is needed to win against Clinton or Obama ......

McCain is not a Conservative and he is to the left of some liberal Democrats. In 2000 he talk endlessly about CFR and he got it passed. This time his obsession is with massive amnesty and open borders, and his mental and physical health is declining. His lies are becoming more frequent and blatant, leaving the impression of a sociopath or a delusional mindset.

For a fact it wasn’t. The MSM tried to play it up as if Florida did it because we wanted to be one of the BIG primaries up there with NH and the Iowa caucus.

Now, if the Hildebeast has a problem with the delegate count down here, she could take that up with her own RAT party.

Years ago I was thrilled that a W.W.II-type "Howlin' Mad" leader would become president. The right one is IMO exactly what we need.

McCain looked to be it.

Now I don't know, after the past five or six years. I still wonder why he "reaches across the aisle," with his back to conservatives, to embrace those whom I believe, at least, kept him in prison years longer because of their support for the North Vietnamese Communists.

I can be understanding of his "McNasty" youth (especially since I was not there).

I don't know how to explain this "no borders!" position. Is he beholden to the taxpayer-subsidized (socialize the cost, privatize the profits) "cheap labor" crowd? Or is it rooted in his contumacy? To wit, does he stand firm for -- yes! -- amnesty because of profits or inherent pigheadedness?

Somebody needs to revamp the primary schedule!

I think that's how this happened.

Well, I voted for Paul in FL. He was the most conservative guy running at the time.

“T.L.Sink” : “To: Cluster

“George Bush, in a recent speech, didn’t mention him by name but strongly intimated (?) that he supports (??) McCain (!!!). Should we be surprised that one open-borders pro-amnesty politician would like another. Right now any smart politician would avoid Bush’s endorsement like the plague. He’s in a race to the bottom with the Democratic Congress in approval ratings.”

Watch out, TLSink, don’t believe some MSM’s lies !

>>> Bush did NOT at all “endorse” Mac-FlipFlop, contrary to the FALSE impressions some tried to give, misleading readers :

=> On the contrary, US President G.W.Bush, not only AVOIDED even to mention Mac-FlipFlop, but, moreover, used a wording which cearly POINTED TOWARDS the only remaining real Conservative : Governor Mike HUCKabee :

- Fex. George Bush urged the CPAC to “help” chose someone able to lift “our CONSERVATIVE BANNER”, to uphold “our (Conservative) PRINCIPLES”, and think not only on “2008 but also beyond”.

=> That obviously can only mean Huck, since he’s just aged 53 and can go also for 2012, while nobody would speak about “Conservative Banner” and “Principles” if it was about Liberal-minded McCain !

Bush is not at all so ignorant, he knows well Mac-FlipFlop, against whom he was already OPPOSED in 2000 Primaries, and there are many other things that opposed them even after that (f.ex. TAX CUTS, JUDGES’ Nominations, etc), while they are still opposed even on the very important issue of Human EMBRYO stem cells, where dagerous Genetic Manipulations can put at risk all Humankind.

( See the REAL FACTS on what really happened at the CPAC in : http://www.freerepublic.com/focus/f-news/1967441/posts )
