Huckabee only needs to win about 60% of the remaining delegates to stop McCain.

The more the liberal media establishment ignore, ridicule, and make hateful comments about Huckabee especially about his Christian faith, the more I back him.

So there.

ONLY 60%. Good luck.

Huckabee is obviously trying to hold McCain hostage for a Cabinet spot or VP.

And now, with the endorsement of Dr. James Dobson, who is the “gold standard” of social conservatism,

For anyone out there writing a textbook on politics, there's a classic example of political spin, albeit a nauseous one.

All Huckster accomplished was to dilute the conservative vote so that neither Fred Thompson nor Romney could win, and to enrage loyal Mormon Republican voters in the process.

Mission Accomplished.

“back in the 60s, when he started studying the works of the great conservative thinkers and writers”

So, what great works was he reading and studying when he was in late childhood and early adolescence?

Pointing out the fact that Huckabee is a Christian nanny-stater, compassionate conservative on steriods is hateful?

If you think the liberal media is after Huckabee now, wait until he's picked for VP. The liberals will have a field day with him.

It may be a long shot but its far from impossible. Everyone keeps pointing out that Huckabee needs 85% of the remaining delegates to win outright but thats missing the point, he just needs to take this to the convention.

By continuing his campaign, he is keeping social conservatives engaged in the process and forcing McCain to move to the right on social issues.

The MSM is licking their chops at the thought of Huckabee on the ticket. And *all* Christians will suffer for it.

“The more the liberal media establishment ignore, ridicule, and make hateful comments about Huckabee especially about his Christian faith, the more I back him.

The liberal media has been praising Huckabee throughout this campaign and covering up Huckabee’s release of violent criminals, government subsidies for illegal aliens, tax increases etc. The only candidate whose faith has been attacked has been Romney for being a Mormon.

We note that in many of the hottest contests so far, the vote has been divided into thirds—typically, about one-third for Governor Huckabee, one third for Senator McCain, and one third for all the other candidates.

This analysis doesn't do a very good job of explaining why Mitt has more delegates than Huck.

Oh, yeah, and I suppose he "diluted the conservative vote" to stop Duncan Hunter too? The fact is that none of the other candidates favored on this forum were particularly attractive to VOTERS, particularly social conservatives, and that's why Huckabee has done as well as he did.

Whoaaa...nothing wrong with being a compassionate conservative—it’s a powerful and very conservative belief. Helping out those in need and allowing those NOGs that do help more leeway is a good thing.

Steroids? who’s taking steroids now? Huck isn’t— so why post that?
