The primaries should be restricted to republicans only, and there is no reason to have them so early.

We should also consider the ‘winner take all’ issue. There was an article today that pointed out that NY and California, states which will not send republican electors to the electoral college, have a disproportionate effect upon the republican nominee

what if the number of republican delegates was related to the number of republican congressmen elected by that state - or - the number of electors from the prior presidential election? i am suggesting we search for some mechanism that would acknowledge the distribution of republicans.

In addition, we need a national day to vote in primaries. Heck, McCain has been handed the nomination, and folks like me haven’t even voted yet!

And those whiners in Broward County Florida want to cry about disenfranchisement?
