I just don’t know if I can reward McCain with my vote for all his backstabbing of conservatives over the past 8 years. I just don’t think he should get the big prize. He’s a liberal democrat at heart and his speech yesterday was a bunch of lies. He basically just said I know we’ve had disagreements, but that’s just too bad and we are going to have more.

The Kaus quote is proof that McCain gives even objective liberals a reason to look askance at his rhetoric, never mind his actions.

It isn’t just simple disagreements on policy for me, I could handle that.

It is that he WILL work against us, openly and without regard.

And his WILL work with the MSM/Dims, openly and proudly. Which makes me not trust him on Iraq anyway, his supposed one virtue.
