I'll call it now. He'll give an empty, platitude filled speech at CPAC and then be (a) all out liberal until the election trying to steal as many independents as possible if Hilary is nominated.
(b) campaign as a "realist" with "experience"(but not conservative mind you) to get as many votes as he can from Obama. He will definitely have Huckabee as his VP to keep the evangelicals for falling for Obama.
It won't be a good year for FReepers. You can count on it.

How arrogant McCain and the people pushing him as a candidate are, to think that anyone would vote for him just because there appears to be no other choice.

McCain passed the point of no return with me twenty years ago.
If someone sleeps with your wife how long does it take you to forgive them?
A week?
A year?
A decade?
How many speeches will it take?
(My tagline is my answer. McCain wants me to shut up and vote for him. I will do neither--and if the Party dosen't like it they better start learning how do deal with it.)

(I am very calm, Senator McCain. Revenge is a dish best served cold.)

Yeah, I’ll make calls to people that didn’t get the time to know they voted for an A hole.
