NOTE TO POLLSTERS IT'S THE SINGLE WOMEN, STUPID
NEW YORK POST ^ | February 6, 2008 | DICK MORRIS

Posted on 02/07/2008 10:03:57 PM PST by george76

While the apportionment of the delegates will distort her victory, the message is clear: Obama's surge fell short.

Once again, the polls proved to be blind to the single women, the core of Hillary's base, who flood the polls to back the possible first woman president.

Obama may inspire, but it is Hillary who quietly wins the unmarried women who struggle at minimum-wage jobs and desperately need public schools, mass transit, day care, health insurance and public services.

The political establishment does not hear their voices, but Hillary's victory on Super Tuesday is based on them.

Be interesting to see whether the unmarried mother vote goes with Hillary or Obama. Who their "baby daddy" is is not as important so long as the government is their sugar daddy.

Ah Dick, Obama won Tuesday, Not Hillary. She was suppose to land the knock out blow and instead is only about 90 delegates a head.

Proof that the socialist assault on marriage and family results in a self-destructive spiral into chaos.

What is the saying? That Democratic governments last until the population realizes it can vote itself money? Pathetic. At least the ride gets faster as we circle the drain WHEEEE!

Amazing.

Our society has brought us to the point where there are millions of unwed mothers.

Perhaps the is what the Democrats want? Do away with morals, family structure, personal responsibility...it breeds new Democrat voters.

Morris expects Hillary to sweep? The only time she wields a broom is when she’s riding it.

“Once again, the polls proved to be blind to the single women, the core of Hillary’s base, who flood the polls to back the possible first woman president.”

The RCP average the day before Super Tuesday had Clinton winning by (if I remember correctly) ~4%. If you count all the votes from Super Tuesday she won by ~1%.

Given the large number of states and their geographic dispersion it reasonable to expect them to have similar results to the nation as a whole, and as such the polls, while pretty accurate overall, slightly underestimated Obama’s support.

Once again Dick Morris establishes himself as the analyst you most want to say your candidate will lose.

Some of them aren't marriage material.

Ann Coulter:

“If we took away women’s right to vote, we’d never have to worry about another Democrat president. It’s kind of a pipe dream, it’s a personal fantasy of mine, but I don’t think it’s going to happen. And it is a good way of making the point that women are voting so stupidly, at least single women.”
