* to prevent us from surrender in Iraq and in the War on Terror, and may even lead us to victory;
* to prevent the federal budget from ballooning to heights from which we can never recover;
* to prevent 2-3 more Ruth Baider Ginsburgs from being appointed to the Supreme Court;
* to prevent universal, government controlled healthcare.
